I have booked this hotel last minute during my Asia trip and I know that it was the best option at that time. This hotel is quite a new building located close to Changgyeonggung Palace. There are 3 convenience store on that street. We had an opportunity to use a luggage storage in the hotel which was very helpful for us. Personal in this hotel was probably the best experience during our stay here. Especially, people working qt the reception were very friendly. I don't know the name of one receptionist but she should be awarded for being extremely kind and helped us a lot! Rooms were specious and almost immaculate with big TV with English - speaking channels and comfy beds. Really appreciate the leaflets and magazines about Seoul provided on the ground floor, Breakfast - there wasn't a huge or small amount of options to choose from but everything vas delicious and fresh. I really loved the amount of fruits there. The restaurant was always clean and there were always free seats no matter at what time you plan to pay a visit for your brekker there. I Was really satisfied that I have chosen this hotel & gonna visit it during my next trip to Asia. I Need to say thank you to orakai daehakro Hotel'S staff.

We loved every aspect of it and can’t really find anything to fault it on. The location is superb, right in central Seoul within easy walking distance to the various palace complexes. Also, there are plenty of cheap and tasty eateries in the streets outside, as well as a number of small convenience stores within 2 minutes walk. Our room was excellent, clean, bright, with decent city views. Overall it was very comfortable and quiet so we were able to have really good sleeps. The mini-fridge was a nice bonus to keep our drinks chilled. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with a great selection of both western and Korean food, as well as a nice selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. A real highlight of our stay was the very well equipped gym which we used every day. This is one of the best hotel gyms I’ve ever experienced, pretty much commercial grade. There are a dozen or so high-quality cardio machines (treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and rowers) plus a huge selection of Lifefitness weight machines covering all body parts. In addition, there is a reasonable selection of free weights ( dumbbells, Smith rack, and preacher bench).

Our favorite aspect was the location. All the major spots you visit in Seoul are in easy reach by public transport. The palaces are almost next door. We also thought that the university district at about a 10-15 minute walk away is very pleasant. Lots of restaurants and cafes. A good vibe. Also worthwhile going up Naksam through the Ihwa Village neighborhood. I highly recommend this hotel for a first time in Seoul.

Everything. It was an amazing stay. The room was spacious and always clean. It has a refrigerator, a kettle and tea, coffee and fresh water bottles were served every day. The hotel has a very good equipped gym, and a laundry room with a microwave for everyone to use. The bus 162 is just outside and needs like 20mins to the center. The metro jongno 5 is like a 13mins walk away and brings you to the station. Next to the hotel are also 2 convenient stores and many korean restaurants are close by. I didnt book the breakfast, so idk about that one.

They were able to organize early check in when I transferred rooms after my group departed and were able to help me when my return flight was delayed to the next day. Elevators in the hotel were really fast and we never waited too long for them. Gym is great for a work out! Sauna is out of commission but would have nice to use.
